Technical and scientific software

Sciver produces tailor-made software for general and scientific automation. As such we specialise on data acquisition, signal processing and data modelling. We offer complete measurement and control solutions, but of course we also automate parts of those (existing or non-existing) systems.

Cost effective

In all our solutions we strive to reduce the costs and to maximize the maintainability. To achieve this, we use existing techniques and components whenever possible, thereby reducing the development time considerably. Of course all techniques and components used will be discussed with our customers.

General tools

Our solutions can be created in various scripting- and programming languages depending on the specific requirements of a solution and the demands of our customers. When no other language is preferred, we usually use the C or C++ programming language, because of its flexibility and the fact that the resulting programs are often really fast. Besides this, the use of bare C/C++ makes sure that our customers do not have to buy expensive third party licenses in order to use our solutions, which might be the case when Matlab® or LabView® is used.

Cross-platform

We strive to make our products as cross-platform as possible. As a result, most of our solutions are available for Windows®, Linux®, FreeBSD® and Mac OS® platforms, which greatly increases the flexibility of our solutions and at the same time opens up various cost-reduction possibilities.
